鋒面雨帶通過台灣，昨天下午終於響起春雷降下雨勢，水利署也趕緊把握機會，從北部翡翠水庫一路到南部曾文、南化水庫，進行人工增雨作業，地面增雨、高空焰彈雙管齊下，希望能有效緩解旱象。
傾盆大雨傾瀉而下，南台灣終於盼到雨神降臨，水利署趕緊把握機會，在25號晚上在曾文水庫、旗山那瑪夏和甲仙攔河堰，燃燒焰劑，就盼人造雨的方式，加大10%到30%雨量，為南台灣解解渴。
不只有南部渴望多下點雨，鋒面雨最先抵達的北部，也實施人造雨，瞄準烏雲密布的天空，發射高空焰彈，還在地面，以燃燒焰劑的方式，加強人造雨力道，就是因為，現在不只南部水庫告急，北部石門水庫水位，也持續下探，當年因興建水庫，而被淹沒的「土地公廟」-阿姆坪，和附近的「夢幻草原」又再度浮出水面。

“相關的人工焰彈的釋放，希望能夠盡量把水，降在我們石門水庫裡面。”
眼看水情還是不穩定，供應新竹地區用水的寶二水庫，和供應苗栗台中的明德水庫、鯉魚潭水庫，也如法炮製、實施人造雨，只是一整天下來，水庫進帳還是有限。

“最主要是我們大地土地乾燥太久，所以當降雨下來，有相當一部分是被土地所吸收，昨天降雨雖然對水庫略有進帳，但更大的助益，可能是在於因為昨天降雨後，對於我們平地灌溉的幫助。”
根據各水庫水情，目前全台水庫水位持續下降，除了曾文水庫11.3%，其餘寶山水庫、明德水庫、鯉魚潭水庫等全台12個水庫，蓄水量不到四成，水情拉警報，只期盼老天能降下甘霖，緩解旱象。
