Massive pet pig often seen wandering streets of Taipei, cooling off outside shops

Taking your dog for a walk is normal, but what about a pig? While strolling around Taipei’s Zhongshan area, you may have spotted a rotund pig leisurely wandering the streets. You may have also seen this social media darling online, since most people will snap a picture. If the weather is hot and she’s tired, she’s prone to flopping down outside store entrances to enjoy the AC, invariably drawing crowds of onlookers. Here’s our exclusive report on this streetwise swine.
To cool off on this hot day, an enormous pig lies down at the entrance to a store. When it’s too hot for humans, it’s also too hot for pigs. She chose this spot to enjoy the free AC.
She looks to be sound asleep, even leaving a puddle of drool. Crowds have already gathered here in Taipei’s Zhongshan shopping district.
- It’s the first time I’ve seen her! So cute.
- It’s certainly unique. I’ve never seen anyone keep a pig this large before.
People usually hurry along, but as soon as they see the pig, they stop in their tracks and give way, usually taking out their phone to take a picture. The owner said she’s already become somewhat of a celebrity as people post about her online.

You’ve seen people walking their pets, but have you ever seen someone walking a pig this large before? You can usually spot her around Taipei’s Zhongshan and Datong districts. Whenever she goes out, she becomes the center of attention.
Wherever she goes, crowds follow her like a neighborhood celebrity. She’s even stubborn with her owner. Our reporter jumped at the chance to try walking her herself.
This was a first for the reporter! Good thing the pig was well behaved. Walking a 130-kilogram animal definitely takes some skill.
The pig is named Milk Tea. She’s a three-and-a-half year old musk pig, a breed commonly known as a “mini pig.” But don’t be fooled into thinking they’ll stay small forever. If they keep eating, they can grow to be as big as Milk Tea.

When I was working, I saw some little piglets being sold on the street, so I bought one.
Mr. Lin takes good care of her, bathing her every day and taking her for walks. Milk Tea even knows her way around Zhongshan, and can easily find her way home. She can even climb the stairs at the apartment.
- On the weekends we walk five hours. Two hours on weekdays.
Milk Tea goes for walks every day, so next time you’re out and about, keep your eyes peeled for this adorable porcine celebrity of Zhongshan.

遛狗很正常，但您看過「遛豬」嗎？！最近有不少民眾在台北市街頭，看到一隻圓滾滾的大豬，悠閒逛街散步，立刻拿起手機拍照，而這一隻網紅豬，也現身在熱鬧的中山商圈，而且，天氣太熱、走太累，乾脆直接躺在店家門口蹭冷氣吹，瞬間吸引大批人潮圍觀，直呼好可愛，來看我們的獨家直擊。
天氣炎熱，只見一隻圓滾滾的豬豬，躺在店門口，原來大熱天，大家好熱，豬也好熱，直接在店家門口蹭冷氣吹。
豬豬看起來睡得很香甜，還睡到流口水，熱鬧的台北市中山商圈，居然有「豬隻」出沒，引起眾人圍觀。
-我第一次看(到)，很可愛。
-很特別。我沒有看過就是說，有人可以養到很大的豬。
走路、逛街的民眾，本來都走很快，一看到豬，立刻停下腳步，甚至讓道給豬走，手機、相機全都拿出來拍，飼主直呼這隻豬已經變「小網紅」了，民眾都會把牠PO上網。

“你有看過寵物逛大街，但是你有看過這麼大隻的豬在街上逛嗎?我身邊這隻豬豬，牠主要在中山大同一帶出沒，只要一出現，就成為鎂光燈焦點。”
豬在哪、焦點就在哪，彷彿變成最萌”大明星"，還會跟主人撒撒嬌，把握機會，當然要親自體驗一下「遛豬」啦！
說真的記者本人第一次遛豬，還好豬豬很乖，因為130公斤的豬，遛牠可是有技巧。
這隻豬豬叫做奶茶，目前三歲半，屬於”麝香豬"品種，也就是大家熟知的迷你豬，但是可別以為牠永遠都小小可愛，如果一直吃，也是會長到很大一隻的！

“以前上班的時候，看到路上在賣那個小豬啊，就跟牠買了。”
主人悉心照顧，每天幫牠洗澡、帶牠出門散步，奶茶熟門熟路，中山商圈怎麼走、回家的路在哪都難不倒牠，爬樓梯回家也沒問題。
-假日要走五個小時，平常兩個小時。
奶茶每天都會出門散步，民眾出去走走逛街時，不妨留意看看，這隻可愛豬豬有沒有出現在你身邊。
