Yuck! Freeloaders put half-eaten beef sushi back on sample tray

Picky eaters left a sushi chef heartbroken, after helping themselves to free torched beef sushi samples, and putting their half-eaten leftovers back on the tray. The incident happened at a Japanese food festival held by a shopping center in Taoyuan. The sushi vendor was so distraught by what he saw, that he shared the story online. Netizens could also not believe the entitlement, and condemned the inconsiderate freeloaders.

A generous slice of beef covers the ball of vinegar rice below. Kissed with a torch and garnished with spring onions… Simply mouthwatering!

A shopping center in Taoyuan is celebrating Japanese cuisine with more than 30 brands and about a dozen chefs cooking up fresh food. Surely nobody would spoil the party, right?

Just think of all the people who have nothing to eat. But this customer just placed all of the rice back. So unhygienic! He didn’t bother to put it to the side. He just put it back on the sample tray! It’s unsanitary and such a waste.

Let’s check the facts. This is what the sample tray looked like, with one dish containing just rice and no beef. The stand operator posted the photo online, saying “My heart was truly broken seeing the tray looking like this… Someone ate the torched beef on top. If it hadn’t been for another customer who pointed it out to us... Not in our wildest dreams would we have imagined something like this would happen.” The rice, made with love, was discarded without a second thought, leaving the inconsolable vendor lost for words. Sadly, it didn’t just happen once.

Who would even eat the leftovers when someone already ate half of it? I would’ve called them out. So inconsiderate!

People at the event were indignant at the incident. But the sushi vendor has come up with a solution so that only those who truly treasure food can get a bite. Until Aug. 19, the beef sushi samples will still be free, but they won’t be put on a platter for anyone to grab and go. Instead, staff will hand them out one by one so food wasters back off.

炙燒牛壽司免費吃! 奧客"只吃牛肉"挨批糟蹋糧食

桃園有購物中心推出「日本美食展」，讓民眾不用飛出國，也能品嘗到日本美食，有店家推出「炙燒牛握壽司」免費試吃，沒想到有好幾個奧客竟然只吃上面的炙燒牛肉片，還把醋飯放回「公用試吃盤」，讓店家錯愕又傻眼，因為吃過的醋飯放回公用盤，不僅有衛生疑慮，醋飯最後只能丟掉，白白糟蹋糧食。

比醋飯還大的牛肉片，刷上醬汁炙燒，再加上蔥花，光看畫面就忍不住食指大動。

“想想看有多少人沒飯吃，然後他居然就這樣一整團飯就這樣丟回來，而且也很不衛生，因為他不是丟在旁邊，他是丟回那個試吃盒裡面，所以其實很不衛生，那也很糟蹋食物。”

只見照片上的握壽司，其中一個只剩醋飯，上面的牛肉片不見了，讓壽司業者心寒PO文說，「看到試吃盤這一幕，我們真的心碎了……，有客人把上面的炙燒牛肉吃掉，要不是熱心客人提醒，我們真的不敢相信會遇到這種事」。用心煮的醋飯被浪費，心疼糧食被糟蹋，而且發現，奧客有好幾個。

“我們因為擔心，就是有衛生的疑慮，因為畢竟這個人吃了之後，他有沒有生病，或是有沒有什麼狀況，我們也不知道。有幾個客人是這樣。”

“我會全部吃完，不然就不要拿，不可以隨便浪費食物。”

“那個可以吃的東西，他這樣子吃一半，誰還敢吃？如果我看到，我會跟他講。我覺得沒有公德心。”

連民眾都拳頭硬了，不過業者也說，決定把美味留給真正愛惜食物的人，到8/19展期結束前，還是會提供牛肉握壽司免費試吃，但不會再放在桌上自取，改由現場工作人員親手遞送，希望大家多多珍惜食物，奧客退散！

During a recent verbal outburst, Speaker Han called out Fu for his poor attendance record. Fu responded by calling on the KMT to remain united, yet this could become increasingly difficult with the election just a few months away.

When the Legislative Yuan Speaker calls for a negotiation, the process might take a few hours. But, in the end, when a caucus party whip doesn’t come, it makes these 2 to 3 hours, or 3 to 4 hours, a waste of time, because he didn’t attend and he didn’t authorize someone to act on his behalf. Isn’t this communicating that those in attendance are a bunch of fools? This, actually, has already happened many times, so the Legislative Speaker has likely gotten to the point where he thinks it’d be more enjoyable to be the KMT’s caucus whip than being the Speaker.

Fu sent out a long statement pushing the blame onto the DPP. He accused the Executive Yuan’s persistent unwillingness to pass the third reading of the bill as being the reason for the budget being postponed.

The KMT is always putting the cart before the horse, which everyone around the nation has clearly seen. One of the Legislative Yuan’s most important powers is to investigate the budget, not helping the Executive Yuan to compile the budget.

The ruling party has called on the opposition party to not shirk their responsibility, and the Executive Yuan has thanked Han Kuo-yu for holding budget negotiations. Yet with this year’s budget being delayed for nearly a year by this point, and with next year’s budget to be sent to the Legislative Yuan next week, people and politicians are hoping this year’s budget won’t become next year’s budget.
