Turning now to the markets. It’s going to be an eventful second half of the year for initial public offerings. One IPO to watch is Tigerair Taiwan, a subsidiary of China Airlines. Another is Foxtron Vehicles Technologies, a joint venture between Hon Hai and Yulon Motor. There’s also Airoha Technology, a subsidiary of IC designer MediaTek. Airoha held a media networking event on Tuesday, saying it plans to go public at the end of October.

Airoha began trading on Taiwan’s pre-IPO market last June. It’s got four main product lines: Bluetooth chips, global navigation satellite systems, broadband, and Ethernet switches. It’s recently launched a raft of products with AI applications, such as Bluetooth headsets with active noise cancellation. Its clients include global brands like Apple, Sony, JBL, Xiaomi, and Garmin.
