Taiwan’s queen of badminton Tai Tzu-ying has advanced to the semifinals at the India Open for the first time in her career. Her opponent in the quarterfinals was none other than China’s He Bingjiao, whom she had defeated last week at the Malaysian Open.

Although the two were in a different country, the encounter ended in the same way. Tai made short work of her rival, winning the match in just 36 minutes. Tai beat He in straight sets 21-12, 21-12 marking the Kaohsiung native’s sixth consecutive win against the Chinese shuttler.
