Hotel serves authentic giant Chianina T-bone steak

Different from American and Australian beef, Italy’s Chianina [kya-NEE-na] beef has a rich flavor with a hint of herbs. One hotel cooperates with an Italian butcher to offer a giant 36-ounce T-bone steak. Cooked in the Sicilian style, this Chianina T-bone offers customers an authentic taste of Italy.

This giant 36-ounce T-bone steak is cooked on a charcoal grill over a 900-degree flame, leaving scorch marks on the surface. The Italian chef lightly seasons it like they do in Sicily, using only sea salt and olive oil to grill it to a juicy and tender medium.

The hotel also serves Sicilian beef and pork rolls, meatballs and homemade sausage, giving customers a full array of Italian flavors.

It’s not too greasy and it has a great flavor and texture. It’s different from the American beef we usually eat in Taiwan.

The seasoning is simple, so I can taste the original flavor of the beef. By adding a little bit of salt and pepper, it makes the flavor come out. I like this style of food.

This giant T-bone isn’t American or Australian, but authentic Italian Chianina beef, a breed of cattle that dates back to the Roman Empire. The beef has the tenderness of a filet mignon with the texture of a New York strip. Its finish brings a rich flavor with hints of herbs.

In addition to serving a 36-ounce Chianina T-bone prepared by an Italian chef, the hotel also imports beef to be sold once it matures. You can cook the steak at home, immersing yourself in a part of Sicilian tradition.

引進義大利"奇亞尼那牛" 飯店推36盎司巨無霸丁骨牛

不同於美國牛肉和澳洲牛肉,義大利的奇亞尼那牛,有著濃郁的肉香,和淡淡香草的氣息,有飯店業者就找來義大利肉品商,推出36盎司巨無霸的丁骨牛排,並使用西西里島的料理手藝,讓民眾能吃到原汁原味。

巨無霸36盎司丁骨牛排,放上烤爐原木炭燒,讓900度高溫火焰,為表皮印上一條條焦痕,使用義大利、西西里島的料理手法,只用海鹽和橄欖油調味,就能燒出5分熟,肉質多汁口感軟嫩的牛排。

不只如此,同時還一連推出西西里牛肉捲,西西里烤肉丸、西西里豬肉香料捲和手工香腸,讓民眾感受滿滿的義式風味。

“吃起來不會太油膩,但是它的肉香很棒,而且很有口感,我覺得跟台灣一般吃到的,美國牛肉不太一樣”

“調味上就是還滿簡單的,我也覺得就是可以吃到肉的原味,然後再搭配一點點的海鹽、椒鹽,就稍微提升它的鮮味,所以我覺得這樣的料理方式,我是滿喜歡的”

巨無霸丁骨牛排大有來頭,不是美牛也不是澳牛,而是選用羅馬帝國時期,就有的義大利奇亞尼那牛,不但有著菲力軟嫩的肉質,也有紐約客的嚼勁,尾韻更帶著濃郁的肉香,和淡淡香草的氣息。

“大家可以不用特別千里迢迢的飛去義大利南義,然後就可以吃到在地的一些特色料理,那我們也希望可以把,義大利的那些慢食精神,還有共享歡聚的餐飲文化,帶到台灣來”

除了現場享受義大利主廚,親自料理的36盎司丁骨牛排,飯店也特別進口大塊原肉,經過熟成後,就能讓民眾買回家、自己DIY,感受西西里島的傳統美味。
