
Delivery platforms in Taiwan have started to cooperate with supermarkets, changing the nature of delivery services. Drivers used to carry no more than four items at a time, but now many have started delivering items from an entire grocery list. Delivery companies have introduced three-wheeled scooters equipped with larger insulated boxes to accommodate such deliveries, which often include roast chicken, salad, and fruit.
Now that delivery companies are cooperating with supermarkets, anything from roast chicken and blueberries to salads and even toilet paper can be delivered right to your door.

Our average orders only have four or five items. This kind of planned shopping is quite different from people taking trips with their families to look around Costco on the weekend.
Delivery companies have started using three-wheeled scooters equipped with larger insulated boxes to accommodate supermarket orders. The boxes are designed to keep groceries cool, so that milk, fruit, cheese, and even cakes can stay fresh.
According to the delivery company, there is an average of one order per minute during mealtimes in Neihu District. Customers are considering how to use the delivery platform’s services to their best advantage.

I linked my Costco membership card so I can get some member prices. Our family often buys Costco’s roast chicken. By adding the delivery fee, I save time on transportation and waiting in line, so I think it’s really quite a good deal.

Now that Costco is on Uber Eats, it seems like I can buy Costco products without needing a membership, which is more convenient.
Finding more ways to cater to modern consumers, delivery companies and supermarkets are creating new business models by working together.

因應外送型態的改變,業者推出新型態的外送車、就看二輪、三輪車一字排開,搭配加大版外送箱,內部設有保冷層,不論牛奶、水果,就連最新推出的千層蛋糕、奶酪也能保持新鮮。
根據平台調查,內湖地區午晚餐時段,平均每分鐘就有一張訂單湧入。但怎麼買划算?消費者算盤打得精!

受到消費型態改變,外送平台跟著變,也讓外送市場和大賣場創出新的商業模式!
