Neihu most popular among redesigned wedding photo backdrops in Taipei

After registering their marriage, it’s tradition for newlyweds to take photos with their friends and family in front of the special wedding backdrop set up inside the household registration office. All of the Taipei offices redesigned their displays recently, but some have proven more popular than others. The one in Neihu District had the best feedback. When reporters went to check it out, they found a couple who came there just for the backdrop.

When newlyweds register their marriage, besides choosing an office that’s convenient or has some special meaning, a lot of couples now choose the one with the best photo backdrop.

Standing among tea fields gazing at Taipei 101 in the distance as the Maokong Gondola goes by—it’s not hard to spot what’s special about Wenshan District. Or you can stand by a building from Bopiliao, which gives Wanhua District its historic flair. All of the household registration offices in Taipei have redesigned their wedding backdrops, sparking discussion online.

I think the ugliest right now is Xinyi District. They just have a Taipei 101 with a heart. It looks tacky, like a place tourists would take pictures.

Before registering their marriage, this couple took a look at all the office backdrops and ultimately decided on the Neihu one as the best place to take photos with friends and family.

Taipei has a diverse variety of designs this time around. We believe the wedding backdrops won’t affect couples’ desire to tie the knot.

Art is subjective, after all. What’s most important is signing your name next to your partner’s on that marriage certificate, taking the first step toward the rest of your lives together.

大換裝! 台北市更新各區結婚背板“內湖區"最受青睞

現在很多人登記結婚後，會和親朋好友在戶政事務所的結婚背板留下紀念，而台北市全區戶政事務所的背板近期大換新，但有部分區域的新背板，在網路上討論不斷。其中內湖區評價最高，記者實際走訪，也真的有新人為了這背板而來。

如果是你是即將結婚的新人，會想在哪一個背板，留下登記紀念呢?

"新人要登記結婚，除了選擇方便或有特殊意義的戶政事務所，現在還有很多人會以背板來選擇。”

站在茶園眺望101，旁邊還有貓空纜車，不難看出這是文山區特色；另外這個剝皮寮建築，復古味濃厚，也真的很萬華。台北市全區戶政事務所，近期悄悄將結婚背板大換新，在網路上引發討論。

“我現在覺得最醜的應該是信義區。它有放一個101，然後一個愛心，很醜很像觀光客會拍照的地方。"

“為了內湖的背板而來，因為台北市其他，目前我覺得，嗯，謝謝。"

“我聽她的。"

這對新人登記之前，特別看了全區背板，最後決定到內湖區完成登記，也和親朋好友留下美好紀念。

“我們應該要打造一個都會新人的科技感，於是我們就把整個城市基隆河岸的光影，建築線條，然後融入內科的積體電路的概念。"

“台北市這次設計了，各式各樣的多元風格，相信結婚背板，並不會影響新人結婚的意願。”

畢竟美感這種事因人而異，和另一半深思熟慮簽下名字，只要能幸福過未來日子，比較重要。
