Sister buys banners along Taichung roadway as surprise birthday gift

Banners along the busy Gongyi Road in Taichung recently went viral after people noticed that every one featured the same pretty woman. Curious investigators set out for answers. They found out they were put up by a woman as a birthday gift for her sister, but it didn’t stop there. They also wanted to know how much each banner cost. A set of two goes for NT$200 along with another NT$200 deposit, but it’s subject to a lottery draw and content approval before going up.

Vehicles stream along this major roadway as a row of banners flap in the breeze. They all feature the same pretty long-haired woman, drawing the attention of people passing by. The text reads: "Peerless Beauty. Radiant at 30. Happy Birthday!" But who exactly is this lady?

She’s featured in the entire row of banners, puzzling many residents. People posted online looking for answers, sparking even wider curiosity. The 12 sets of banners are on Gongyi Road, Section 2 in Taichung, stretching eight blocks from Dachang Street to Huiwen Road.

A relative of the birthday girl clarified online that they were commercial banners rented by the woman’s younger sister as a birthday gift.

In this case, an application to hang commercial banners was submitted according to standard procedures. They obtained the right through a lottery and the applicant paid the hanging fees and deposit in accordance with regulations.

Taichung has 67 such commercial banner spaces up for rent. The Environmental Protection Bureau accepts applications from agencies, organizations, and legal entities. Each set of two flags has a usage fee of NT$200, plus another NT$200 deposit. As long as the content doesn’t violate laws or public decency, anyone who wins the lottery can put them up, giving everyday people their very own superstar treatment for all of Taichung to see!

台中市熱鬧的公益路二段上，有網友發現沿途路燈桿，竟全被同一名長髮正妹的照片攻佔，引發好奇，上網尋求解答，疑似是妹妹替姊姊慶生，想出來的花招，超狂排場，引發網路熱議，而費用曝光，一組羅馬旗幟，懸掛一次200元，保證金200元，但要抽籤，只要內容審核許可，就能上架。

大馬路，車水馬龍，旗海飄揚，正妹照全面攻佔，白皙皮膚、大眼長髮，秀氣臉龐，吸引用路人目光，仔細一瞧，寫著絕世佳人，三十而麗，生日快樂，而這位女主角，請問到底是誰？

一整排旗幟都是她，不少民眾覺得疑惑，PO網求解，引發網友好奇，而地點就在台中市公益路二段，從大昌街口，一直到惠文路，12組橫跨8個街區。

網路貼文有疑似旗幟女主角的親友澄清，是妹妹替姊姊慶生，才超狂租了公益路的商用羅馬旗懸掛慶生布條。

“該案是依照程序提出商業羅馬旗懸掛申請，經抽籤程序取得懸掛資格，申請人並依規繳納懸掛費用及保證金。”

而其實，全台中市有67條可懸掛商業羅馬旗路段，環保局接受機關、團體或法人提出申請，每組兩幅旗幟，使用費200元，外加200元保證金，只要不違反法令或善良風俗，中籤就能上架懸掛，素人也能享受巨星排場，台中市民都看到了你!
