Wanting to capture the perfect picture, some locals wandered onto the ground level crossing, narrowly missing oncoming trains. Police stated that trespassing could result in a fine of up to NT$50,000 and could constitute a public endangerment offense under the Criminal Code.
A thrill-seeking elderly man snuck onto the level crossing of the train and stood beside the train tracks to take photos, prompting the conductor of the Tze-Chiang Express train to sound the alarm.
The train screeched to a stop and the driver leaned out to check the cause. He quickly told the elderly man to back up.
