Exhibition allows visitors to travel through time thanks to 4K technology

With the Metaverse and 5G gaining popularity, a new immersive exhibition aiming to bring the audience to different time periods has kicked off in Taipei. Through 4K technology, Taiwanese designers have created eight different time periods. Visitors can take a trip to the early 2000s and get a glimpse of what the future in the year 3148 could be like. FTV reporter Stephany Yang has the details.

One second you are in 2010, when vaporwave was popular.

Then, a few minutes later, teleport to the year 3148 and get a glimpse of what the future could be like. Another scene allows visitors to experience life in space and walk on the moon.

The images of Hong Kong stood out to me because it was very colorful. The other scene that stood out to me was outer space. I think it is great. The exhibition can achieve an educational effect, and is especially suitable for children. There are places we don’’t have easy access to, but through this exhibition we can see things that we don’’t see often.

This is an immersive exhibition held by Taiwan’’s first 5G immersive stadium. Taiwanese designers have jointly created eight different scenes through 4K imaging technology.

Organizers hope that through the exhibition, visitors can expand their imagination and travel through time.

5G元宇宙當道沉浸式展覽帶你一窺未來世界

隨著元宇宙和5G的盛行，台北有一個沉浸式展覽，帶領觀眾進入不同時代場景。透過4K技術，台灣設計師創造了八個不同的場景。遊客可以前往2000年代初期，再一睹未來3148年的樣貌。

前一秒還在蒸氣波藝術流行的2010年代。

幾分鐘後，就被傳送到3148年，一窺未來世界的面貌。在另一個展區，觀眾可以探索外太空，在月球上漫步。

"我特別有印象的是香港的畫面，顏色很繽紛。另外一個是外太空，我覺得很棒。透過這個可以達到教育的效果，特別適合小朋友來看，因為有些地方我們不見得很容易到那個地方，但是透過這個場域，可以看到這些我們不常看的景色。"

"這個是一個滿創新的體驗，不只是一面式的表演空間，等於是四面八方，沉浸式是對表演很創新的想法。"

這是台灣第一個5G展演平台舉辦的沉浸式展覽。台灣設計師透過4K影像技術打造八種不同的場景。

"是全部由台灣的製作團隊所製作的，每個畫面，每一幅音樂，都是台灣的團隊自己努力。現在是暑假，大家應該都悶壞了，又不能出國。很多奇特的地方，尤其是現在的元宇宙當道，大家很想要知道，在元宇宙之外的自我會是什麼樣的世界，所以我們帶領大家去八個不同的奇幻的場景。您可能很難想像公元3148是什麼樣的樣態，可能很難想像中古世紀的魔幻城堡，來到這邊可以體驗。"

透過展覽，主辦單位要開發參觀者的想像力，帶領觀眾穿越時空。
