A Nantou father has pulled out all the stops to make an amazing Halloween for his son. Mr. Chen created a replica Gundam outfit for his young child as a Halloween costume. The astonishing homemade suit of armor took six months of hard work. It follows a similar project last year, for a video game character. But how can he possibly follow Gundam next year? Let’s meet the family to find out.
Shield in one hand, sword in the other, this formidable figure looks like a sky-scraping robot. But in fact, it’s a child in costume.
A sweet little boy puts on layer after layer of armor, transforming into a Mobile Suit Gundam character. The suit is 100% convincing, complete with blinking lights on the helmet.
Mr. Chen
I saw other kids’ dads making the costumes themselves. And now I have my own child, I thought if I’m going to do Halloween, I want to make a Halloween costume by hand for him.
Mr. Chen made this Gundam suit all himself as a Halloween costume. The resident of Caotun Township, Nantou, has been putting his craftsmanship to the test over the last six months, making this impressive suit of armor out of polyurethane.

When he finished it, our son loved it. He thinks it’s cool, awesome, different to other kids’ things.

I’m very envious. We just bought something simple, a ready-made costume.
The year before, Mr. Chen created a similar costume based on an online game. The two handmade Halloween costumes brought a lot of joy to their owner. Mr. Chen has promised to make another costume next year. His little boy told us, he hopes it’s Spiderman.

迎接萬聖節，又是考驗父母創意的季節，南投草屯有一位爸爸，因為喜歡動漫機器人，特別以泡棉素材，替小孩製作一套"鋼彈套裝"，歷經半年時間，終於完工，這套鋼彈不但外型100%復刻，甚至頭盔還會發光，效果非常酷炫。
拿起盾牌，另一手英勇揮劍，不仔細看還以為是超大型機器人，但其實裡頭是名小朋友。
一層一層套上裝備，可愛的小男孩，搖身一變成了酷炫的鋼彈人，外型不但100%復刻，甚至頭盔還會閃閃發亮。

“看別的地方，爸爸都是自己做，有了小孩之後，那時候想說如果真的萬聖節，自己想要親手，做萬聖節套裝給小孩”
這套真人版鋼彈套裝，出自男孩爸爸的巧手，為了迎接萬聖節，南投草屯這位陳先生，半年來發揮美工魂，以泡棉材質，親手完成這套令人羨慕的鋼彈裝。

其實這位爸爸，去年就曾做出網遊角色，連續兩年純手工萬聖套裝，讓兒子愛不釋手，爸爸承諾明年要再挑戰一套，小男孩藉機許願，希望是蜘蛛人。
