TRA and Japanese model train company launch Taiwanese train model

Taiwan Railways is collaborating for the first time with a Japanese model train company, to produce a model of a Taiwanese train. The new EMU3000 model will go on sale in miniature next year, after just launching on real-life tracks in September. It’s the first time TRA has worked with the major Japanese model manufacturer. We spoke to some train buffs to see what all the fuss is about.
A train speeds down the tracks out of a tunnel. Look closer, and you can see it’s a finely-made model, hard to distinguish from the real thing.
The EMU3000 hit TRA tracks just this September. Now it’s about to be available in this miniature version. TRA has collaborated for the first time with a Japanese railway model manufacturer, to launch this tiny, exquisite N scale model of the train.

We want to promote the 3000 model all over the world. Meanwhile, we will also in the future be collaborating with the Japanese model company on other new train models.

The EMU3000 model comes in two colors, currently. In the end all the colors will be combined in one set.
The models are slated to go on sale at the end of next year, with lots of options to choose from - multiple colors, and basics sets and extra-carriage sets. Lots of railway buffs are already looking forward to it.

I’m quite looking forward to the collaboration, especially because they’re made by a big Japanese factory – I collect the Japanese railway models.

It’s the design. Also, of course, because it’s a TRA train, so there’s a sentimental element. It has a connection to cultural emotions.
The collaboration is a new milestone for the railway models industry. TRA hopes the new products will ignite the flames of passion for many new railway model collectors.

鐵道迷注意! 台鐵攜手日本模型大廠推"迷你版EMU3000"

許多鐵道迷都喜歡蒐集各類火車模型，台鐵這回和日本鐵道模型大廠合作，要推出今年9月才剛上路的EMU3000型列車的模型，預計明年底開賣，消息一出，不少火車模型愛好者們都已經開始期待!
火車穿過山洞在軌道上奔馳，仔細一看，這全是模型!做工很細緻，就像真的一樣。
今年9月上路的台鐵新列車，EMU3000，現在也要變身迷你版，台鐵公司首度跟日本鐵路模型製造大廠合作，要推出這款列車的N規，精密模型。

"把這個3000型，推廣到全世界去。除了這個3000型之外，我們將來其他的新的這些車種，也會陸續來跟日本模型公司來進行合作。"

列車模型，預計在明年底開賣，除了有多種色款，還有基本組、增節組等不同選擇，不少鐵道迷們現在已經開始期待。

台鐵與日本鐵路模型公司合作，除了要為鐵道模型產業帶來新的里程碑，也希望藉由這次合作，推坑更多鐵道迷和火車模型愛好者。
