
You may have seen a video online of a woman getting struck by a train in Alishan last week. Fortunately, the tourist left the scene with just minor injuries. But now the tour guide of the group she was part of is facing a fine, for bringing the travelers dangerously close to the train track. The travel agency that organized the trip may also face heavy fines. Let’s hear from a tourism official.

The accident was captured on video. It shows the woman standing with her back to the train to take a selfie. The next moment, she’s hit by the train and thrown on the ground, fortunately without getting caught on the train or going under it. She survived the incident with a broken leg, and may also be fined up to NT$50,000.

日前有旅行社帶團到阿里山遊玩,卻帶著團員違規行走在軌道區,其中一名女團員在拍照時,遭到火車撞擊受傷,列車誤點1小時,觀光署調查後,近日將發出裁處書,重罰旅行社及帶團導遊。

一名女遊客在鐵軌邊,背對火車拍照,下一秒,卻直接被開過來的火車撞上,尖叫聲四起,女子倒地,差點就被捲入火車車底,造成左腳撕裂傷,依據鐵路法,擅闖鐵道的女子也將處1萬以上5萬以下罰鍰。
