One mother in Taichung recently took her child to a salon to get his hair cut with a shaved lightning bolt design. But to the mother’s dismay, the child was in such pain when he came back home that he had to be taken to the hospital the next day, where they found a long scrape on his scalp. At first the salon claimed “this is normal,” before admitting fault and apologizing profusely.
This young boy had a lightning bolt design shaved on the side of his head during a recent haircut. It seems like a cute idea, but the stylist must have shaved too close to the skin, leaving long red marks along the boy’s scalp.

This mother brought her child to a hair salon in Taichung’s Fengyuan District and agreed on a hairstyle after speaking with the hairdresser. But to her dismay, after spending NT$800, her son was returned to her with cuts on his scalp.

We feel deeply sorry for the discomfort this has caused the child and his mother. We sincerely apologize, and we will bravely take full responsibility for our actions.
The salon came forward to apologize on behalf of the stylist and said it would cover any relevant medical expenses. But when the mother first told the salon what had happened, she received a very different response.

He said this was normal and that the same thing happened to his child. He said my child shouldn’t get this style cut in the future, as some children may not be able to tolerate it.

Right now, we are only focusing on the child’s subsequent safety and health.
The manager did not have a straight answer for how this happened. Another hair stylist said using an electric razor at the wrong angle could have caused the injury.

Usually, scrapes like this happen when the razor angle is wrong. The electric razor may have been pressing on his scalp and then used at too low an angle. It also could have been a new razor that the stylist was not yet used to using.
For children with sensitive scalps, stylists suggest adding a layer of hair oil first for protection. This kid may have been excited to get a cool new hairstyle, but ending up with a painful scrape like this is likely to leave a lasting impression.

閃電刻線! 5歲童理髮"剃出傷痕" 業者坦承疏失致歉

台中有媽媽，日前帶著孩子，到豐原一家美髮店理頭髮，還做了閃電造型的刻線，只不過晚上回到家，孩子痛到受不了，直到隔天就醫發現頭皮竟有長長的傷痕，讓媽媽無法接受的是，店家第一時間竟回覆「這是正常的」，不過現在，業者已坦承錯誤，並出面鞠躬致歉。
小男孩頭上剃了道長長閃電，別具風格，看似帥氣可愛，但仔細看，露出來的頭皮，竟然也被剃出紅色刮痕。

媽媽越看越心疼，帶孩子到豐原一家美髮廳理髮，照著設計師推薦的造型剃，怎麼也沒想到，花了800元，卻被剃出傷痕。

"對於小孩跟媽媽的感受度，造成有非常大的不舒服，我們也是非常覺得深感抱歉，對不起，我們一定會勇敢承擔，我們該負的責任"
當事業者，出面替髮型師鞠躬致歉，表示會負起後續醫療費用，不過媽媽當天向店家反映時，卻得到這個回應。

面對事發原因，髮廊總監沒有正面回應，不過到底怎麼會釀成傷勢? 有其他美髮業者，認為電剪使用的角度，也可能會是導致受傷的原因。

"這樣子破皮 通常都是角度不對啦，下手可能就是，(電剪)已經壓了頭皮，然後角度又有點偏低，也有可能他新的電剪，有可能不習慣它操作方式"
有美髮師建議，小孩頭皮脆弱，最好先上一層髮油保護，只是小朋友原本滿心期待有個新造型，卻換來皮肉傷，心中恐怕也留下陰影。
