A music school in Yunlin’s Huwei Township was recently undergoing renovations, when a painter working on the job spontaneously sat down at the piano and played Richard Clayderman’s famous piece Marriage of Love. The moment was captured by the staff and posted online, drawing nearly a million views. The painter said he never took lessons. Everything was self-taught through relentless practice, all because he wanted to play it for his grandmother.
A pair of gentle hands caress the piano keys, but the man at the bench has paint splatter on his pants. This is 37-year-old Tseng Wei-hung, who happened to be here to work on a renovation.
He hasn’t played for many years, so he was bound to be a little rusty. But while the music school was under renovations, he saw the piano and couldn’t resist. The performance was caught on video and uploaded online, where it went viral. But Tseng said he’s never formally studied piano. In middle school, he spent three months teaching himself to play Richard Clayderman’s famous piece Marriage of Love, all for a very special lady.

My grandma loved this song, so I practiced. To give her this gift, I practiced and practiced for about eight hours in a day.
Thinking of his grandma, who passed away three years ago, Tseng’s eyes brim with tears. The impromptu performance was all to bring her joy.

Playing for the first time in over 20 years, he admits he’s a bit rusty. But self-taught amateurs can be astonishing. He can still play the piece. Surely his grandmother in heaven is smiling down at him.

雲林虎尾鎮一家音樂教室近日裝修，油漆師傅當場即興彈奏理查克萊德門知名曲目「夢中的婚禮」，過程被工作人員拍下上傳網路，吸引約百萬瀏覽次數。油漆師傅說彈鋼琴沒有拜師，完全是為了阿媽想聽，苦練自學。
溫柔的雙手撫過琴鍵，彈鋼琴的這位男子長褲還殘留點點油漆，其實他是剛好來裝修的油漆師傅，37歲的曾煒泓。
已經多年沒彈鋼琴了難免有點生疏，在音樂教室施工時，看到鋼琴，忍不住彈彈看，被工作人員拍下上傳網路，沒想到吸引爆量瀏覽次數。曾先生說，其實從沒正式學過鋼琴，國中時，花了3個月自學彈奏，理查克萊德門知名曲目「夢中的婚禮」，都是因為她。

“我阿媽愛聽這首，我就去訓練，為了送我阿媽這首，我就拚命一直練一直練，一天大概練8小時。”
想到三年前過世的阿媽，曾先生紅了眼眶，原來即興彈奏的這一曲，全是為了讓阿媽開心。

“那時她那個表情，你無法體會，就是一種，喔！可能是這輩子有過最好的感覺，我阿嬤的眼眶就泛紅。我為我阿媽做這件事，我覺得很光榮。”
時隔20多年，再次彈奏，謙虛說有點生疏，但素人自學令人吃驚，乖孫會滾刷，也會彈琴，天上阿媽都聽得到。
