Everyone can feel inflation pushing prices up, but some restaurants keep their meals remarkably affordable, offering their customers a great value. One pasta place in Taipei offers its cheapest dish for just NT$55, while another buffet in Taoyuan is just NT$380 and includes dozens of high-quality dishes, from roast duck to fried crab.

Broccoli, onion, garlic, basil, and spices are added to a pan and cooked in broth.

The pasta is then cooked in the broth to absorb the flavor. This simple Italian pasta dish that would normally cost over NT$100 is only NT$55 here.

Most Italian dishes include a main ingredient and a pasta, and are sold for NT$100 or NT$200. My idea is that customers can pick the ingredients they like, so everyone can customize their dish and also decide the price, like at a lu wei stand.

The owner sells pasta during the day, and his brother takes over in the evening, selling late-night snacks. The two brothers split the cost of the store’s rent, saving on costs and offering affordable, tasty meals.

Meanwhile at a steakhouse in Taoyuan, the kitchen is busy frying fish and cooking shrimp while also searing steak.

This buffet offers dozens of dishes from Chinese-style stir-fries to Thai lemon fish and Cantonese duck, as well as desserts and drinks. The best part? It’s only NT$380.

物價飛漲,全民有感,但也有店家維持佛心價格,希望給大家高CP值的用餐體驗,台北有家義大利麵,最便宜一盤只要55元,桃園則是有家牛排百匯,單點自助吧380元,卻能吃到數十道桌菜,而且用料不馬虎,從泰式檸檬魚、廣式烤鴨到炸螃蟹,都吃得到。

花椰菜、洋蔥、蒜末、九層塔和調味料、高湯入鍋,大火拌炒。

麵條吸附湯汁直到入味,就能起鍋,外面百元起跳的清炒義大利麵,這家價格直接砍半,只要銅板價55塊。

"一般的義大利麵都是一個料,然後一個麵就這樣子,然後就賣一、兩百塊,我的想法是說,就是可以自己去選自己喜歡的配料,這樣大家都可以自己客製化,然後價錢也可以是自己去決定,就是以滷味攤的方式去做選擇"

老闆白天賣義大利麵,晚上換哥哥接手賣宵夜,兄弟倆平分五萬塊的店租,省下成本,回饋給消費者。

畫面轉到桃園牛排店,廚房不只要煎牛排,還要忙著炸魚、川燙鮮蝦。

從中式熱炒、泰式檸檬魚、廣式烤鴨,再到甜點、飲料,超豪邁的自助吧,不含排餐,單點只要380元。

"我們有便當,還有三個點在賣,所以我們是一個比較具有專業性的餐廳跟便當店,我的要訣就是用現金買賣,還有直接找廠商,直接大量採購這樣來降低成本"
