
A restaurant in Kaohsiung’s Dashu District has gotten incredibly popular for selling a bowl of noodles with an egg and vegetables for only NT$50. It added this simple dish after customers kept saying they didn’t want this or that in their noodle soup, and was surprised that it has helped their business so much.
After adding just noodles, cabbage, and an egg to a pot, this simple noodle soup is ready to serve. Despite only having three ingredients, the menu item has become incredibly popular.

Lots of customers didn’t want processed ingredients, or clams, black fungus, or other things. For just NT$50, I’ve found there are a lot of customers who will order this.
Catering to picky customers, the restaurant started offering this simple, affordable noodle soup. But other restaurants like this one in Kaohsiung’s Qianjin District include lots of ingredients. Here for NT$115, a bowl of noodles comes with shrimp, clams, shredded pork, vegetables, and meatballs.

Customers can be picky about what they eat, so some restaurants let customers swap ingredients, while others offer a simpler option. Whether customers just want eggs and vegetables, or lots of seafood and meat, they can find the option that’s right for them.

高雄大樹區有一間販售肉圓的店家,因為一碗蛋菜鍋燒麵意外爆紅,只有麵條、湯、蔬菜和雞蛋的鍋燒麵,一碗只要50元超級便宜,業者說,因為客人有的不想吃火鍋料,有的不要蛤蜊,乾脆通通拿掉,結果生意不減反增。
在湯裡加入意麵和高麗菜,打上一顆蛋煮一煮,你以為還有其他配料等著放嗎?沒有了就這樣,這是簡易版的鍋燒意麵,最近在網路上意外爆紅。

位在高雄大樹區這間肉圓店,除了賣肉圓,還販售菜蛋鍋燒麵,業者捨棄一些配料降價到50元,生意反而比之前還要好約三成。

“太多客人不要火鍋料,不要什麼不要蛤蜊啊,不要木耳絲啊不要什麼的,50塊錢。我發現這個族群算是,潛在的族群還蠻多的。”
為了因應挑食的客人,業者推出單純的鍋燒麵,也被稱作月底救星,而其實一般的鍋燒麵,配料都不少,像是高雄前金區店家販售的這一碗,除了有麵,有蝦子、蛤蜊、肉絲,還有蔬菜跟丸子,超級豐富,一碗115元,要讓顧客吃飽飽。
“我不想要蝦子跟海鮮類的”
“我不想要丸子也不想要有菜,還有一些奇怪的蘿蔔。”
鍋燒麵好吃歸好吃,不少民眾還是會挑食,這不要那不要的,有的店家會讓客人更換其他食材,而有的則是直接拿掉減少麻煩,簡易版跟豐富版的鍋燒麵價差65元,喜歡哪一款,就看顧客怎麼選。
