Homey Kaohsiung restaurant offers customizable dishes

Although she had already retired, one talented chef in Kaohsiung decided to open a new restaurant at the encouragement of her friends. Not only does her restaurant offer all kinds of Taiwanese and Shandong dishes, but it has a secret menu that can be customized to the tastes of each customer. Many people enjoy eating and chatting here, treating it like their own family kitchen.

Packed with grouper, noodles, pork, and baby cabbage, this dish is one of the restaurant’s specialties.

These light sesame chicken noodles, simmered with cabbage, is sweet and flavorful. Another dish was passed down from the owner’s father from Shandong, combining noodles, chives, egg, glass noodles, and dried shrimp to make the perfect fried chive pocket.

The stewed grouper with noodles is really delicious. And there are round noodles, which I rarely get to eat.

I have Shandong heritage, and every time I come here, the dishes remind me of the ones I used to enjoy at home when I was young.

This restaurant is in Kaohsiung’s Gushan District. In addition to its standard menu, the owner also offers customized specials for tables of four and up.

高雄鼓山"隱藏版食堂" 特色料理.溫馨如自家

高雄有一位餐廳老闆娘原本已經退休,後來因為朋友希望她復出,她就在鼓山開了一間食堂,店內不僅有各式台灣與山東口味的特色美食,還有隱藏版菜單,甚至還能依據顧客想要的口味客製化,讓不少人都喜歡到這裡聚餐、聊天,彷彿當成了自家廚房。

滿滿的石斑魚肉搭配麵條、豬肉、娃娃菜,這是店家招牌菜色之一,石斑魚煨麵。

再看到清淡版的麻油雞麵線,加入高麗菜煨煮後,口感又香又甜。另外還有這一道,老闆娘傳承山東父親手藝,使用燙麵、韭菜、雞蛋、冬粉和蝦米,包起來後小火慢煎的韭菜盒子。

“石斑魚的煨麵非常的鮮美,而且有麵疙瘩,平常很少吃到麵疙瘩。”

“我是山東人,那每次來到這邊吃的口味,就覺得很像當初家裡,我們從小的家庭吃的一些飯菜。”

這是一間位在高雄鼓山的食堂,店內除了有固定菜色,老闆娘還讓四人以上同行的客人可以依據喜好,客製化想吃的餐點。

“除了每天現場有準備的東西之外,就是有朋友他特地來,要聚餐啊要生日啦,或者是辦一個特殊活動啊,我們就可以幫你量身訂做,你喜歡吃的東西。”

[[客人]]
“鼓勵他們出來開個店吧,所以這退休多年的好廚藝的母女檔,終於就在他們家附近,隱藏的巷弄裡面,開了一個這樣一個(店)。”

特別的是,這位老闆娘其實原本已經退休,是因為朋友們的敲碗,才讓她決定再次開店,店內環境溫馨,食物少油脂,吸引不少人來這裡用餐,老闆娘也持續用滿滿熱情製作美食服務大家。
