If you love flowers, you’ll be in for a treat at this village in Chiayi County. More than 3,000 pink shower trees are blooming with ethereal dusty pink blossoms. It’s complemented by orange day lilies that form a sea of orange on the ground. Let’s take a look at this floral wonderland.
If you walk into Yilong, the first thing you see is a sea of pink flowers. Thousands of pink shower trees are in bloom, making nearly everywhere in the village patched with romantic pink.

Thirteen years ago, the head of Yilong planted 3,000 pink shower trees around Zhuqi Township. Three years ago, he planted 300 more on his own five-hectare hillside. At this time of the year, Yilong Village becomes a world of pink.
And under the pink shower trees, there are orange day lilies. They are also entering their blooming season, forming a sea of pink and orange flowers.

We’ll plant around 7,000 more orange day-lilies, and we should be able to produce hundreds of thousands of orange day-lilies this year.

嘉義縣竹崎鄉有個粉紅村，每年這個時節，三千多棵花旗木就會綻放粉紅花朵，把整個村染成浪漫的粉紅色。今年村子裏還多種了金針花，目前已經有些開花了，形成粉紅色和橘色花海，十分美麗。
走進嘉義縣竹崎鄉的義隆村，映入眼簾的是粉紅色的花海，上千棵的花旗木同時綻放，把村子染成了浪漫的粉紅色。

“特地又過來這邊走一走，今年的花況又比去年開得又更旺”
義隆村村長十三年前，在竹崎鄉種植三千棵的花旗木，三年前又在自家五公頃的山坡上，種了三百多棵的花旗木，每年這個時節，義隆村就變成粉紅世界。
而在花旗木的底下，還有金針花，也開始進入開花期，形成粉紅和橘色兩色花海。

花旗木的花期預計持續到5月上旬，而金針花則接續會一直開到7月，一次賞兩種花，可說是買一送一。
