There’s a Cantonese restaurant in Kaohsiung’s Sanmin District that takes roast duck to a whole new level. The duck four-ways is particularly beloved by their customers. In addition to the classic Cantonese crispy duck skin wraps, they also serve juicy duck sushi, duck breast with veggies, and bone-in duck with plum—four ways to enjoy this delectable staple.

A chef brings the entire duck out to the table to show his customers. He then sets it to the side to cut perfect slices, making everyone’s mouths water.

The crispy skin is placed onto a wrap, with cucumber, green onion, and a drizzle of sweet sauce to complete this restaurant’s signature dish.

Sautéed with cherry tomatoes and sweet potato, this bone-in duck with plum is a pleasing blend of sweet and sour. The most special thing about our roast duck is where it’s sourced from. We’re extremely rigorous. We use cherry duck raised in Hualien. Because of the water quality, the ducks bred there are very plump with tender meat.

Apart from these different takes on roast duck, the restaurant also offers handmade dim sum. Their care when selecting ingredients can’t be beat. No wonder they’re always packed, even during workdays.
