‘Devil Fire Cloud’ billiards player dies from heart attack aged 40

Taiwan billiards player Chang Jung-lin, known locally as “Devil Fire Cloud” has passed away. The 40-year-old suffered a heart attack while at a competition in Indonesia, and had no vital signs when he was found in his hotel room.

Chang started his professional career in 2003, rising through the ranks and colleting titles to eventually reach the top of the world rankings. His sudden passing has shocked the sports world. The president of Taiwan’s billiards federation released a statement thanking Chang for his decades of dedication to the sport in Taiwan and abroad.

張榮麟在2003年發跡,走入職業撞球領域,一路獲獎無數,曾登上撞球世界第一寶座。他的死訊震驚體壇,撞總會長趙豐邦難過發文,謝謝張榮麟多年為台灣撞球的努力。
