Hawkers have very simple and basic stalls that can be wheeled in and out of the nation’s many night markets. They dress very casually as they serve the crowds. So it may come as a surprise to know many of them earn much more than the average office worker. Beverage vendors can make upwards of NT$100,000 a month. Hawkers selling grilled sausages and cake vendors are also making good money. But the most profitable night market activity isn’t selling drinks or snacks. Let’s take a tour of a night market and find out what it is.
Before the sun sets, vendors are rolling their carts into position, ready to start. Already people are lining up. Here there’s three drink shops in just 50m.

Depending on the crowds, if business is good, we sell over 200 cups. On weekdays, we sell around 150 cups.
With large crowds, vendors make NT$10,000 in one day, for a monthly revenue of more than NT$100,000, a better pay than most office workers. There are hundreds of different kinds of hawkers, so which ones are the most profitable?

There’s food, beverages and fun at the night market. Statistically, the most profitable stalls aren’t the food vendors, but the gaming booths with profit margins of up to 37.4%.
Pinballs are full of nostalgia, and offer fun for just a coin. Night market workers do their best make a living. As long as they can come up with the tastes and flavors visitors want, they can quickly pocket cash.

夜市是台灣庶民生活的縮影，儘管要看天吃飯，還是體力活，但夜市裡藏了很多不少高獲利產業，像是夏天一晚可賣出200杯的飲料攤，月入上看10萬元，勝過一般上班族，烤香腸、雞蛋糕等攤位收入也不容小覷，但利潤最高的夜市王，並非美食，是哪一攤呢？一起來看。
太陽還沒下山，夜市攤商拖著攤車就定位，準備上工，飲料攤販還沒開張，就有人上門，短短50公尺左右，就有三家賣飲料。

人潮一多，單日營業額破萬元不是問題，換算下來，月收入有機會衝破10萬大關，比一般上班族還賺，只是夜市攤販百百種，哪些利潤更好、更有賺頭？
