Search-and-rescue dogs bring smiles to Hualien relief efforts

First responders and volunteers have been working tirelessly alongside search-and-rescue dogs in the aftermath of disastrous flooding in Hualien. Two of these dogs, Fancy and Hero, have been helping from the start. These brave canines fearlessly waded through thick sludge and floodwaters, searching for people stuck in the mud. A few days ago, Fancy was spotted rolling around in a mud puddle to cool off. Video of the adorable moment quickly went viral online.
During his break, this first responder carefully cleans the dark mud off a search-and-rescue dog named Hero.
Hero has just trudged through thick mud in Hualien, searching for people trapped by the recent floods in Guangfu Township. Alongside the team, Hero helped find a family of five.

Hero is more shy and sensitive. I’ve been working with him for four years now.
This year, Hero celebrated his birthday in Hualien.

He could rest that day. It happened to be his day off. He also helped after the Hualien earthquake on April 3 last year, and even went to the semi-collapsed Uranus Building.
Hero’s good friend Fancy has also been helping in Hualien. After completing her work for the day, a group of volunteers helped clean her off. Amid tireless relief efforts, these two dogs bring smiles to volunteers’ faces.
A few days ago, Fancy was spotted rolling around in a big mud puddle to cool off during a break, clearly enjoying herself. These adorable search-and-rescue dogs play a crucial role in disaster relief efforts, helping to find people trapped by sludge and rubble.

花蓮救災行動中，除了辛苦的搜救人員，還有可愛的搜救犬Fancy和Hero也在第一時間投入救援，面對滿地淤泥還有很深的積水，2隻狗狗豪不畏懼，穿梭在泥濘中，仔細尋找有沒有受困民眾，幾天前，Fancy因為太熱，跑到一處泥水裡面打滾、消暑一下，超萌模樣在網路上爆紅。
使勁搓腳腳，把黑色淤泥通通洗乾淨，搜救人員趁休息時間，幫可愛的搜救犬Hero清洗一番。
剛走了一趟淤泥之路，Hero全身髒兮兮，這幾天主要在砂石場搜救，還跟著團隊找到一家五口，立大功。

這次花蓮光復鄉的救援性動中，還剛好碰上牠生日。

Hero的好夥伴Fancy，同樣是萬人迷，剛完成任務，被一堆志工包圍洗香香，兩隻搜救犬真的萌翻全場。
幾天前，Fancy還被捕捉到，在佛祖街搜尋失聯者中間休息時間，跳進一處水塘打滾，消暑一下，玩得好開心。汪汪大隊挺進花蓮災區，不只可愛，還是重要的搜救成員，引發話題。
