Next to a temple in Taichung’s Houli District stands a twisting, century-old tree. From a distance, it looks like a giant deer, with the trunksforming the animal’s body and legs, and the branches as antlers. It has gone viral online recently, with people saying it’s like a mythical temple guardian.
A century-old tree is wrapped around this small temple in Taichung, shielding it from the rain. Its trunks dig into the ground in multiple places, like the four limbs of an animal. The crossing branches above form antlers, making it look like a giant deer. When the sun shines through the branches, the tree looks like a mythical beast guarding the temple.

I’ve seen it here since I was small. It’s probably been here over a century. Lots of people have been coming to take photos recently.
This tree and temple have grown together for over 100 years, serving as a center of faith for the surrounding community in Taichung’s Houli District. When a local photographer posted photos of it online, it suddenly went viral.

Without any human interference, this tree naturally grew into a mythical deer, guarding the temple in its midst. It’s a unique place of worship for the local community, full of spiritual weight.

百年老樹"撞臉神獸"宛如鹿 民眾直呼:有靈氣

台中后里一處土地公廟旁，有一顆百年樟樹近期爆紅，因為老樹沒有經過人為雕塑，樹幹宛如鹿的四肢軀幹，樹枝像是鹿角，遠遠看宛如一隻有靈性的神獸，讓人嘖嘖稱奇。
土地公廟旁，百年老樹緊鄰，樹葉茂密生長，像是天然保護傘，換個角度看，竟然還藏有小彩蛋，盤根錯節的樹幹，宛如鹿的四肢軀幹，上頭交錯的樹枝，則像鹿角，若是碰上好天氣，陽光從樹梢縫隙灑落，宛如眼睛，像是一隻有靈性的神獸。

“拍起來真的滿像的，神鹿啊。你在那個廟的，土地公廟後面，然後看上去就很像了。”

“從小就在這裡看了，可能(存在)一百多年了，最近很多人來(拍照)。”
這顆老樹，位在台中后里四村路上，當地民眾說，這顆老樹，已經存在百年，和土地公廟相互依存，是當地重要信仰中心，這回因為被當地攝影師捕捉PO上網，意外爆紅。

百年老樹，沒有經過人為修剪，自然長成，自帶靈氣的神獸，成為當地心靈寄託，也讓人嘖嘖稱奇。
