Southern Taiwan evacuates residents in mountain areas

Mountainous areas in the south are on high alert about potential landslides due to the strong winds and heavy rain from Kong-rey. To prevent disaster, authorities have evacuated more than 2,000 people in Kaohsiung. Residents in mountainous areas of Pingtung and Tainan have been relocated to safer areas.
A large truck broadcasts messages through mountainous villages, urging residents to evacuate. Staff from the Taiwu Township Office in Pingtung are going door to door telling residents to take shelter at the activity center.
A young couple drives away with their child, picking up sleeping bags and other warming supplies. Meanwhile, older adults are assisted by staff to move into the shelter.
At Sandimen Township, personnel are also out on the street to find residents who have not yet evacuated. The severe weather should not be underestimated.
Over in Tainan, local officials, accompanied by the military and police, evacuate residents in potential landslide areas. A total of 372 people from eight districts have been ordered to relocate, and 10 individuals have been provided shelter.
As for the vast mountainous areas of Kaohsiung, including Taoyuan, Namasia, Maolin, Liouguei, Jiasian, and Shanlin, the city government is taking no chances, despite the rain not being too heavy in the morning.

In the areas at risk of large-scale collapses, 132 individuals have been evacuated, including 91 people with medical needs such as dialysis patients and pregnant women. So far, a total of 2,304 people have been evacuated.
As Kong-rey batters Taiwan, there’s a high risk of landslides and large-scale collapses in mountainous areas. In southern Taiwan, evacuations are being conducted to ensure the safety of residents.

屏東泰武鄉預警性撤離 長輩安置當地活動中心

康芮颱風直撲台灣而來，南部山區就擔心強風豪雨侵襲，加上恐怕會引發土石流以及大規模崩塌，因此相關單位提早進行預警性撤離，其中光是高雄就撤離超過兩千人，另外包括屏東以及台南也都趕緊讓山區居民，撤離到安全的地方。
大貨車沿著山區部落進行廣播，提醒居民康芮颱風直撲而來，要趕緊進行撤離，屏東泰武鄉公所人員也挨家挨戶告知大家，可以盡快到活動中心安置。
年輕的夫妻自己開車帶著小孩離開住家，領取睡袋等保暖物品。長輩們則是在相關人員協助下，早早進駐。
另外在三地門鄉，相關人員同樣是徒步來找還沒撤離的居民，畢竟颱風可能夾帶的風雨是不容小覷。
不僅屏東山區，台南各地區長也在軍警陪同下，協助土石流警戒區的居民撤離，總計撤離八區372人，收容10人。
至於範圍廣大的高雄山區，包括桃源、那瑪夏、茂林、六龜及甲仙、杉林，雖然31號上午雨勢不強，但市府可是一點都不敢大意。

強烈颱風康芮侵襲台灣，山區不僅風強雨大，更有土石流以及大規模崩塌的風險，南台灣針對山區居民進行撤離，就是要保障大家的生命財產安全。
