Unleashed dog attacks 2 girls at Sanyi woodcarving festival

A terrifying moment shocked locals in Miaoli’s Sanyi Township recently, when a black dog without a leash suddenly attacked a family walking by. Two sisters, aged 3 and 9 were bitten on their face, limbs, and head and leaving them traumatized. Authorities say the dog’s owner could face legal consequences for failing to restrain the animal.

But then, a mother with three kids passes by. And the dog suddenly jumps at the youngest child aggressively.
The mother lunged at the dog to let her kids escape. The girl managed to unclamp herself from the dog’s mouth, but staggered in fear. She sustained bite wounds on her limbs, shoulders, head and face. A traumatic experience.

I heard children shrieking so I rushed out. The dog had lunged at them! The kid was screaming, and there was blood on her face. It was quite scary.
Two girls, aged 3 and 9, were taken to the hospital for the wounds. A video of the incident was posted online to remind pet owners to keep their dogs under control.

A woman and three children were walking by a private residence on woodcarving street when a dog bit two of the children, causing injuries that required medical treatment.
The dog’s owner accompanied the victims to the hospital and went to the police station to give a statement. Since the dog was not properly restrained, the owner may be held legally responsible for negligence leading to injury.

恐怖! 母子4人逛三義木雕街 店狗突發狂"攻擊2童"

苗栗三義鄉，日前發生，家長帶3名孩童前往參加木雕節，行經木雕街時，卻遭附近住家飼養的狗咬傷，其中3歲和9歲的孩童都被咬到，受傷送醫。
店門口的小狗戴著項圈，卻沒繫上繩鍊，先是看到一名家長帶女童經過，黑狗起身後又回來店門口。
過沒多久，一名母親牽著3個孩子路過，沒想到狗相中最小的孩子，發動攻擊！
當時母親見狀一把拽住狗，好讓孩子逃脫，小女童從狗嘴中逃生，嚇得一度踉蹌。但身上還是被咬得遍體麟傷，手腳肩頭還有頭部臉上都有被咬傷的痕跡，看不到的傷痕，還有心理驚嚇指數破表。

“突然間我聽到小孩子一聲哭叫聲，就趕快衝出來看。狗狗不知道什麼原因就撲向她，小孩哇哇大叫然後臉上有流血，當時流了一些血，感覺滿可怕的。”
3歲和9歲的女童都被咬傷送醫，民眾上傳畫面提醒，飼養毛小孩的飼主們不要輕忽，要管控好在戶外走動的寵物。

“女子與3孩童同行路過三義木雕街一民宅時，遭該民宅所飼養之犬隻咬傷，造成2孩童受傷就醫。”
事後飼主陪同就醫，並到派出所製作筆錄，孩童遭未繫繩的狗咬傷，警方指出因未妥善管束導致他人受傷，被害人可依法追究過失傷害責任。
