HSR vows to intervene after passenger spotted putting bare feet on tray table

There’s a tray table at every seat on the high-speed rail. But recently, one passenger took off her shoes and socks, and placed her feet directly on the tray. Another sat down on it entirely, making the other passengers uncomfortable. The Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp said that the tables can only bear 10kg, and passengers must pay for any damages incurred. It also said if you see anything that makes you uncomfortable, you can inform the train staff, who will intervene.
A passenger blatantly puts her foot on the neighboring tray table. But apparently that wasn’t good enough. She also takes off her sock before putting her foot back.
Other passengers who saw it found it to be disgusting.

It’s extremely unsanitary. It seems like they were drunk, so I wasn’t bold enough to go over and ask them to stop.
The Taiwan High Speed Rail said that train staff will intervene if they see anything. If passengers are disturbed by the behavior of other passengers, they are also welcome to inform the staff.

When the train is busy, many people will stand in the last row of the non-reserved cars. But some people use the tray table as a seat.

The HSR reminded passengers not to put their feet or heavy objects on the tray tables. If any damages are incurred from improper use, the passenger would be held financially responsible.

乘客脫襪抬腳放餐桌上 高鐵回應:感到不適會進行勸導

高鐵上的每個座位，為了讓乘客方便用餐，都配有小餐桌，但卻有旅客把襪子脫了，直接把腳放上去，甚至人整個人坐在餐桌上，讓其他乘客看了非常不舒服。高鐵公司表示，桌子都有限重10公斤，如果造成損壞必須負相關賠償責任；而如果看到其他人行為感到不舒服也可通知服務人員，會進行勸導。
大剌剌把腳放在隔壁座位餐桌上，這還不夠，脫掉襪子再放一次。
其他民眾目睹這狀況，直呼非常噁心。

“就是覺得非常沒有衛生，因為他們好像是有酒醉的情況，所以我也不太敢貿然上去阻止他們的行為。”
高鐵表示，如果服務人員有發現會主動勸導，旅客如果對鄰座行逕感到不舒服，也可向服務人員反映。

身穿黑色無袖洋裝的女子就這樣整個人坐在高鐵餐桌上，還直接把鞋子也脫了，桌子上方明顯寫著限重10公斤。

“應該會反映給乘車的(服務)人員，應該會交由他們公司來處理。”
高鐵也再度提醒，餐桌請勿腳踏或重壓，如果因為不當使用造成損壞，旅客恐怕得負相關賠償責任。
