Dress consultant advises men to ‘add one’ to up their fashion game

Once they start dressing themselves, many boys don’t pay much attention to fashion. It’s common to see men in a simple T-shirt and jeans or a tank top with shorts, or even wearing sweat-wicking workout clothing everywhere. Inspired by Father’s Day, one fashion brand launched a project encouraging men to add a piece or swap a color or material to refresh their wardrobes.
On Taiwan’s streets, the most common outfits are a simple T-shirt and jeans or tank top with shorts. It’s true that some men concern themselves with dressing well. But compared to Japan or Korea, many people believe it leaves a lot to be desired.

After wearing the same few things all the time, it’s hard to have fun with it. Using Father’s Day as an excuse, why not show Dad it’s OK to buy a new piece, get a size bigger, change the color, or use a new material? One fashion brand helped three guys refresh their look, and the change was stark.

不少男性在出社會後，就比較不重視自己的打扮穿著，路上常看到素T加上牛仔褲，或是背心加短褲，甚至到哪都穿運動、排汗衫，有服飾品牌趁著父親節，推出新企劃，加一件、換個顏色、材質，讓家中男性的造型能煥然一新。
在台灣街上，簡單素T加牛仔褲，或是背心加短褲，就能出門，確實有部分男性注重穿搭，但跟在日韓相比，很多人想說，啊！怎麼差那麼多？

“那很麻煩啊！很累贅。這樣不是很輕鬆嗎，套下去就好，襯衫還要扣扣子。年輕的時候，可能穿搭就會比較注意一下時尚吧”

“因為從小到大主要都是穿制服，等到工作的時候又有制服，就不會刻意去穿搭。我爸有在穿搭，我都跟我爸一起去買衣服”
穿來穿去，就是那幾件，也搭不出個玩意來。搭上父親節話題，幫爸爸來個大改造，其實加一件、大一號、換個顏色、材質就OK！還有品牌找來3位素人，改前改後，根本大變身。

“平常穿的都是比較修身的衣服，久而久之就會覺得有點無聊，想要有點變化。之前曾經有被講過說，你不覺得你的穿搭，看起來有點『太過成熟』？”
