17-year-old from Kaohsiung makes new Korean girl group

Another Taiwanese talent has made it in the Korean music industry! The new group OURBIRTHDAY is the latest to come out of a JYP Entertainment subsidiary. Only three of the group’s seven members were in its initial debut, sparking controversy, but among them was 17-year-old Hsieh Chia-hsuan from Kaohsiung. Not only does she have a sweet look, but she’s packing some powerful moves. After Chou Tzu-yu from TWICE, Hsieh is now the second Taiwanese artist to join the JYP family.

A subsidiary under South Korean entertainment group JYP has formed a new girl group called OURBIRTHDAY to great fanfare. The member with the blonde braid is Hsieh Chia-hsuan from Taiwan.

The 17-year-old Kaohsiung native is the first Taiwanese artist to join JYP in the years since Chou Tzu-yu debuted with TWICE.

I have a lot of things I want to tell you all, because when you’re busy after your debut, there will be very few chances to chat. I hope to have some time to talk. It’s not necessarily true that debuting as a singer will make you happy.

Before their debut, JYP founder J.Y. Park shared some important information with the group about being artists. As you can see, there are seven members, but the group made their first appearances as a three-member unit. The agency also uploaded a video sharing Hsieh’s thoughts before the debut.

Debuting always felt like a dream, but now it’s actually come true. I’ve been practicing for this day ever since I was a kid, putting in sweat and tears. So I think things should go smoothly.

又有台灣女孩在韓國成功出道，JYP娛樂旗下的子公司，推出全新女團OURBIRTHDAY，總共七名成員，先以三人小組亮相，就引發話題，其中一位，年僅17歲的台灣成員謝佳軒，不只長相甜美可愛，跳舞實力更備受關注，也是JYP繼TWICE的周子瑜之後，再有台灣人加入。

韓國JYP娛樂公司旗下的子公司，推出新女團OURBIRTHDAY，如火如荼展開宣傳表演，其中，這一位金色頭髮、綁著辮子的成員，來自台灣。

今年17歲的謝佳軒是高雄人，也是繼周子瑜之後，JYP娛樂公司睽違多年，再度迎來台灣籍成員。
