A man in Zhuoxi was in for a surprise on Sunday evening, after he found a bear attempting to break into his kitchen. Fortunately, it was just an adorable Formosan black bear cub. The baby bear tried to climb in through the window, but ultimately failed. The story doesn’t end there, though. Later that day, a cub was caught by forestry officials after raiding the man’s chicken coop. It’s unclear whether the two bears were the same one.
Nobody’s in the kitchen… so what’s that sound?
Answer is a cute baby bear! It peeks over from behind the window, propping itself against the ledge to look inside. The homeowner captured the sight on his phone.

It was behind there. Maybe it was too slippery so it couldn’t climb up. It then went and hid behind the fridge, but it disappeared.
The Zhuoxi resident immediately called the police on the bear cub to drive it away. But later that night, the house’s chicken coop was raided by a bear. Forestry officials set traps and caught it safely.

Over the past two days, we have received reports of sightings of a mother bear with her cubs. They showed up at night, alerting locals. We’re urging residents to stay calm and avoid leaving any kitchen waste outside.
The cub was quite agitated inside the cage, but it remains unclear whether the coop raider and the kitchen inspector were the same bear. With bears roaming near the village, police urges locals to not leave food scraps outside that could draw them to residential areas.

小黑熊出沒! 花蓮卓溪民宅廚房遭闖 雞舍設誘捕籠捕獲

花蓮縣卓溪鄉，素有台灣黑熊故鄉之稱，昨天有民眾在自家廚房，發現黑熊蹤跡。不過同一天晚間，屋主又發現有小熊闖雞舍，林保署在現場設誘捕籠，果然逮到小熊，但無法確定和闖廚房的是不是同一隻。
廚房內明明沒有人，卻出現不明聲響，到底怎麼回事？
過不久答案揭曉，一隻可愛小熊現身，還越爬越進來，最後乾脆站在窗沿上東張西望，模樣全被屋主拿手機，錄了下來。

“這個板子的後面，牠好像很滑，牠也爬不上來，後來牠就躲到這個冰箱的後面，躲到冰箱的後面，可是不見了。”
花蓮縣卓溪鄉，周日有民眾在自家廚房，發現小熊的蹤跡，立刻報警。警方協助驅離小熊。只不過趕歸趕，何先生的雞舍，晚上又有黑熊入侵，林保署人員設立兩個誘捕籠，果然逮到了小黑熊。

“這兩天村民都有反應，都有出沒那黑熊，就是母熊帶小熊。晚上就又出現了，讓附近的居民都很驚慌，也呼籲部落村民要冷靜啊，針對部落住家的廚餘，還是不要放在外面。”
遭捕的小熊，在籠內相當躁動。雖然闖廚房和闖雞舍的小黑熊，不知道是不是同一隻，但可以確定最近周遭有母熊帶小熊出沒，因此警方提醒，這段期間廚餘別放屋外，以免引誘牠們來光顧。
